Refunds and cancellations

This notice applies to the work we actually offer: motion-panel collector editions, consultations, atelier viewings, lettering and timing passes, and provenance notes. It does not cover physical comic back-issues, merchandising, or subscription access, because we do not sell those.

Viewings and consultations

Cancel a viewing or consultation with at least forty-eight hours’ notice and we refund the fee in full by the same method you paid, usually within five working days. Cancel later, or miss the slot without notice, and the fee is kept; we will offer one rebooked slot if the room is free within a month. If we cancel, you get a full refund or a new slot, at your choice.

Collector editions

The markup deposit is refundable in full if you withdraw before approving the pencilled boards. After you approve markup, the deposit covers time already spent and is not refundable. If you withdraw during colour holds or the motion pass, we may refund a portion of the balance not yet earned, never less than zero, after subtracting hours already worked at the rates implied by the quote. Once the motion file has been released to you, fees for that edition are not refundable.

Timing passes and provenance notes

Work not yet started is refundable in full within fourteen days of payment if you are a UK consumer and you withdraw. Once annotation or writing has started, we refund only the unused portion. Delivered notes and timed files are not refundable except where the file is not reasonably fit for the agreed pages; in that case we will re-time once or refund at our discretion after looking at the boards.

Materials and work already started

Archival stock cut for your companion is not returnable. If a commission stops after paper is cut, that stock cost stays on the account. We do not restock unused yellow chips as a line item.

Email hello@digital-lanehub.world or telephone 07966305757 with the brief date and the work name. Refunds go back to the original payment method within ten working days of our agreement. We do not offer store credit in place of a refund unless you ask for it.

Exceptions

If licensed rights collapse after markup through no fault of yours, we refund fees for work not yet usable and keep only documented hours already spent on markup you can still read. If you ask us to mint beyond a locked cap, we will refuse; that refusal is not grounds for a refund of completed work.
